The mobility of the future needs fuel cells: the case of powertrains

How can we reduce CO2 emissions from traffic? An important element is electromobility. Electric power trains aren’t usually the first choice for heavy trucks given the battery weight, long charging times and limited range of today’s technology.
Bosch fuel-cell powertrain proves it can be different. Around 40-ton trucks will be able to travel more than a thousand kilometres in all-electric mode in the near future. This powertrain enables the climate-neutral transportation of goods and commodities when powered with hydrogen produced using renewable energy. This is a great example of how companies can innovate to contribute to reducing CO2 emissions towards a clean future for our cities. [Read more here]
